Dumnonia

In the wake of an empire’s collapse, the descendants of the Great Old Ones have risen up to reclaim their home. Their champion, Tiberius, slays Caius in battle and divides the land between the old tribes. The magic of the wilds has returned, and there are rumours that witches, shapeshifters, and fantastical beasts walk again.

This hard-won peace is disrupted by a fierce rivalry. A witch is separated from her true love. A princess journeys to find her missing sisters. A huntsman leaves the forest behind. An honourable man breaks his oaths. As these characters venture into the wilds, they’ll discover just how connected they are.

Inspired by the history and legends of Dartmoor, this is a story of love, sisterhood, and the misunderstood figures in our fairytales.
